Selection Process 2026

  • Group A Posts: Online CBT Examination (70 marks) followed by Interview (30 marks)
  • Group B & C Posts: Online CBT Examination (100 marks), followed by Skill Test wherever applicable
  • Stenographer Grade-III: CBT followed by a Skill (Shorthand) Test at 80 wpm, qualifying in nature
  • Lower Division Clerk: CBT followed by a Typing Test (35 wpm English / 30 wpm Hindi), qualifying in nature
  • Staff Car Driver: CBT followed by a mandatory qualifying Driving Test
  • Hindi Assistant: CBT (MCQs) plus a conventional descriptive translation exam (English–Hindi, 800–1,000 words)
  • Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer in the CBT (no negative marking for MTS)

  • The Skill Test is qualifying in nature — final merit is based on CBT marks

Important Points to Remember Before Applying

  • Candidates can apply for more than one post, but must submit a separate application with separate fees for each post
  • Once submitted, no changes are allowed except during the official Modification Window (03–05 August 2026), which carries a ₹300 fee per attempt per post
  • Call letters, results, panels, and all further updates will be posted only on the official CCRUM website — no publication in any other media will be made
  • Admit Cards will not be sent by post — candidates must download them from the registration portal
  • Fresh appointees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS) and placed on 2 years’ probation
