Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Qualification: Passed Class 8 from a recognized board (for select trades) — most technical trades require Class 10 pass with Science & Maths as subjects
• For Trades under 10+2 System: Passed 10th class examination under the 10+2 system with Science and Mathematics, or equivalent, as per trade requirement
• Residency: Candidate must be a resident of Rajasthan (Domicile required for state-quota seats)

How to Apply Online for Rajasthan ITI Admission 2026

• Visit the SSO Rajasthan Portal — sso.rajasthan.gov.in
• Create/Log in with your SSO ID (register first if you don’t already have one)
• Navigate to the “ITI / Apprentice & ITI Admission” application on your SSO dashboard

Admission & Selection Process — Step by Step

• Stage 3: Provisional Merit List Release — based on 8th/10th/12th marks (in case of a tie, the older candidate is given preference)

How Merit is Prepared

• Merit is calculated purely on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (8th, 10th, or 12th, depending on the trade applied for)
• In case two or more candidates score equal marks, the candidate with greater age is given preference in the merit list
• Separate merit lists/seat allocation may apply for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) as per Rajasthan Government reservation policy
