- Keep MBBS/PG/Super-specialty degree, internship completion certificate, and MCI/NMC registration ready in scanned format before starting the application — last-minute document issues are the most common reason for rejection
- Ensure your MCI/NMC/State Medical Council registration is active and not expired at the time of application and DV
- Double-check the specialty-wise vacancy breakup in the detailed notification before selecting your post/specialty, as Specialist and Super Specialist posts are specialty-specific
- Maintain physical fitness in line with PST standards (height, weight, chest measurement), as this is a mandatory stage even for medical posts
- Keep experience certificates properly signed and stamped by the competent authority, since experience calculation errors are a common cause of rejection at DV stage
- Regularly check recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in for DV/Interview/PST schedule updates once the application window closes
