• Age limit and educational qualification will be considered valid as on 01.08.2026
• Candidates who have worked on a contract basis with various agencies/similar institutions for a minimum of 3 years as of 01.08.2026 get an age relaxation — their maximum age limit is relaxed up to 43 years
• Producing valid proof from a competent authority regarding being an original resident of Pune district is mandatory (Domicile Certificate issued after 2018)
• For married women candidates who are originally resident outside Pune district, it is mandatory to submit their husband’s Pune district domicile certificate along with a marriage registration certificate from a competent authority
• Candidates must be physically fit/capable of performing the physical duties required for the Shipai post
• The Bank reserves the right to reduce the number of posts announced
• The Bank reserves the right to postpone or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason
• Candidates must submit a declaration as per the Maharashtra Civil Service Rules, 2005 (Small Family Declaration) — this is mandatory
• No parallel/horizontal reservation applies to this recruitment

Examination Fee

Probation Period & Pay During Probation

• Selected eligible candidates will be given a temporary probationary appointment for a period of 6 months in bank service
• During the probation period, candidates will be paid a consolidated salary of ₹12,000/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand only) per month
• Post-appointment, the candidate will be governed by the bank’s permanent staff service rules and prevailing terms & conditions

Complete Selection Process

Stage 1 — Offline Written Examination (70 Marks)

As detailed above: 70 objective, multiple-choice questions in Marathi, in 75 minutes, via OMR sheet.

Stage 2 — Document Verification

• Candidates eligible for interview will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio (interview-eligible candidates : vacant posts), in merit order of written exam marks — the list will show seat numbers only, not marks, published on the bank’s website
• Eligible candidates’ educational qualification and other related original certificates will undergo preliminary document verification by bank officials before the interview
• Candidates must make original documents available during verification; only candidates found eligible in this preliminary document check will proceed to the interview stage, as per bank policy

Stage 3 — Interview (30 Marks)

• Candidates found eligible after document verification will be called for an interview
• Candidates absent for the interview will be disqualified from final selection
• The interview carries 30 marks, assessing: candidate’s personality, physical capability, communication skills, basic knowledge of the bank, local knowledge of Pune district, service attitude, fundamental principles of cooperation, and etiquette

Stage 4 — Final Selection List & Waiting List

• Written exam marks and interview marks will be combined into a total out of 100 marks; the final result will be declared in merit order
• A waiting list of 20% of vacant posts will also be prepared
• The final selection list and waiting list will be published on the bank’s website; the waiting list remains valid for one year from its date of declaration
• Tie-breaking criteria (in order): (1) Age seniority, (2) Experience, (3) Alphabetical order of surname in English
• Candidates on the final selection list will be appointed as per the bank’s prevailing terms and conditions
