Eligibility Criteria — Educational Qualification

As per the Gazette (Rule 8 & Appendix-1), candidates must meet any one of the following options:

  • Option 1: Higher Secondary (12th) or equivalent with at least 50% marks + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/D.Ed)
  • Option 2: 12th pass with at least 45% marks + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE Regulations, 2002
  • Option 3: 12th pass with at least 50% marks + 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
  • Option 4: 12th pass with at least 50% marks + 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • Option 5: Graduation degree (45%-50% marks) + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR a B.Ed degree

Mandatory Additional Requirement: Candidates must have also passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET Paper-1 or CTET Paper-1).

Exam Day Guidelines & Documents Required

  • Reach the exam centre at least 2 hours before the exam start time for identity verification and frisking
  • Main gate closes 30 minutes before exam start — since exam starts at 10:00 AM, the gate closes at 9:30 AM
  • No entry allowed after the time mentioned on the admit card, under any circumstances
  • Items to carry: Printed Admit Card, Black or Blue Ball-Point Pen, and original Photo ID Proof (Voter ID/Driving Licence/PAN Card/Aadhaar Card)
  • Entry without an original photo ID proof will not be permitted

Dress Code & Prohibited Items

  • Wear light-coloured, half-sleeve clothing — black, dark blue, dark green, purple, maroon, and dark chocolate coloured clothes are not allowed

Objection Process on Provisional Answer Key

  • Log in with your Registration Number (Profile ID) and Date of Birth to raise an objection within the notified window after the exam
  • Objection fee: ₹50/- per question (payable online) — objections without fee payment are not valid
  • Objections must be raised individually for each question — multiple questions objected together in a single submission will be rejected
  • Objections without supporting proof will be rejected; objections via post/email or in-person submission are not accepted
  • Subject experts’ decision is final and binding — the final answer key will be prepared accordingly
  • A question may be deleted (voided) for: incorrect question structure, no correct option, Hindi-English translation mismatch causing no valid option, or a printing error — all candidates get equal bonus marks for such deleted questions
  • No re-scrutiny/re-evaluation of OMR sheets is possible, since evaluation is done by OMR machine
