The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Result on 16 July 2026, bringing an end to one of the most closely watched medical entrance examinations in recent years.
Conducted after the cancellation of the original May examination, the re-test saw nearly 20 lakh candidates appear, with over 11.21 lakh candidates qualifying for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses across India.
This year, Aryan Gupta (Punjab) and Panshul Bansal (Haryana) jointly secured the highest score of 715 out of 720, while 138 candidates scored 690 marks or above, highlighting the intense level of competition.
Along with the result, NTA also released the final answer key, category-wise qualifying cut-offs, All India Rank (AIR) list, and state-wise topper details. Qualified candidates should now prepare for MCC All India Quota counselling and their respective state counselling processes, as seat allocation will begin shortly.
