Who Can Apply — Eligibility for This Mains Exam

• Only candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025 (PET-2025) and hold a PET-2025 score card issued by the Commission can apply
• Shortlisting for the Mains exam is done based on candidates’ normalized PET-2025 score, merit-wise, against the number of posts advertised
• Candidates with a zero, negative, or absolute PET-2025 score (i.e. without a valid normalized score) will not be shortlisted for the Mains exam
• Candidates whose PET-2025 result is under investigation (UI) or marked provisional will be provisionally permitted to appear, subject to final Commission decision

Horizontal Reservation Coverage

• Dependants of Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Persons with Disabilities (PwBD), and Outstanding Sportspersons are covered under horizontal reservation as per applicable Uttar Pradesh Government rules
• PwBD categories covered: (a) Blindness & Low Vision, Deaf & Hard of Hearing, and related categories; (b) Locomotor Disability, Muscular Dystrophy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Cerebral Palsy, Acid Attack Victims; and other benchmark disabilities as per the 4% horizontal reservation for Divyangjan re-earmarked across Groups Ka/Kha/Ga/Gha

Age Limit

• As per the UP Forensic Science Laboratory (Non-Gazetted Technical) Service Rules, 2016, Part-4, Rule-10

• Login: Authenticate using your PET-2025 Registration Number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number/email
• Application: Your PET-2025 personal details, category, EWS, horizontal reservation details, DOB, etc. will auto-populate. Select the post(s) you wish to apply for — unselected posts are not considered
• Select Yes/No for educational qualification against each selected post, along with Board/University name, year of passing, certificate/roll number, and related details
• Photo & Signature: Your PET-2025 photo and signature will auto-display; no changes are allowed here
• Other Details: Mark your post preference (vareeyata) and preferential qualification (Yes/No), if any
• Declaration: Read the declaration carefully, tick all checkboxes, enter the verification code, and click “Save and Submit”
