Profile Registration & Application Process

• For candidates’ convenience, a Profile Registration facility is available on the portal — once registered, candidates do not need to re-enter personal details for each exam applied for; details are auto-fetched from the Profile Registration
• No caste, date of birth, local residence, educational qualification, disability, or ex-servicemen certificates are collected at the time of online application — verification of all such certificates will be done by the appointing authority at the time of recruitment. CGSSB is not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by the candidate
• If an error is made while filling the application, candidates get 3 days after the application closing date to correct it themselves online
• Exam results are generated strictly based on the information filled by the candidate in the application — no correction is possible at any stage after the correction window closes
• After successful fee payment, candidates must click “SUBMIT” to finalize the application
• Local resident candidates of Chhattisgarh (as per state government rules) who appear in the exam will have their exam fee refunded by CGSSB to the same bank account used for payment

Exam Day Guidelines & Documents Required

• Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 2 hours before the exam start time for identity verification and frisking
• Main gate closes 30 minutes before exam start — since exam starts at 10:00 AM, the gate closes at 9:30 AM
• No entry allowed after the time mentioned on the admit card, under any circumstances

Dress Code & Prohibited Items

• Wear light-coloured, half-sleeve clothing — black, dark blue, dark green, purple, maroon, and dark chocolate coloured clothes are not allowed

• Negative Marking: 1/4 (0.25) mark deducted for a wrong answer or for marking more than one option

Objection Process on Provisional Answer Key

• After the exam, if candidates have an objection to the provisional answer key issued by CGSSB, they must log in on the CGSSB website using their Registration Number (Profile ID) and Date of Birth to raise an objection within the notified window
• Objection fee: ₹50/- per question (payable online) — objections without fee payment will not be valid
• Objections must be raised individually for each question — multiple questions objected together in a single submission will be rejected
• Objections without supporting proof will be rejected; objections via post/email or in-person submission at CGSSB are not accepted
• Subject experts will review objections; their decision is final and binding — the final answer key will be prepared accordingly
• A question may be deleted (voided) if: the question structure is incorrect, no option is correct, the Hindi and English translations differ in meaning leading to no single correct option, or there is a printing error preventing a correct answer
• For deleted/voided questions, all candidates will be awarded bonus marks equally
• If more than one option is found correct for a question (per expert decision), all such correct options will be considered valid
• No re-scrutiny/re-evaluation of OMR sheets is possible, as evaluation is done by OMR machine; no further claim/objection is entertained after the final answer key is released along with the result
