About UPSSSC Forensic Science Laboratory Main Examination 2026 |

| Under Advertisement No. 15-Pariksha/2026, “Vidhi Vigyan Prayogshala (Combined Cadre) Main Examination (PET-2025)/16,” the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has invited online applications from Indian citizens for a total of 208 vacancies of Scientific Assistant and Lab Assistant under the various cadres controlled by the Office of Forensic Science Laboratory, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. Only those candidates who possess the mandatory eligibility for the advertised posts and who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025 (PET-2025) — and have been issued a PET-2025 score card by the Commission — can apply online for this Main Examination. Shortlisting for the Main Examination is done on the basis of the normalized PET-2025 score, category-wise, and only shortlisted candidates get the opportunity to appear in the Main Examination. | |

Special Note (as per Official Notification): No application/fee will be accepted after 17 August 2026. Candidates will not be able to print their application until the fee has been reconciled by the bank. Therefore, candidates must ensure fee reconciliation is completed by 17 August 2026, or at the latest within 7 days thereafter — i.e., by 24 August 2026, without fail. During this period, candidates may also correct certain permissible details in their application. |
