How to Raise an Objection Against the Provisional Answer Key

- Window: 15 July – 22 July 2026 — objections after this date will not be entertained
- Every objection must be supported by proof from standard textbooks only (e.g., NCERT, SCERT, Samacheer Kalvi state board books)
- NOT Accepted as Proof: Guides, coaching notes, class materials, private coaching PDFs, or general website/internet references
- NOT Accepted as Mode of Submission: Email, Courier, India Post, or in-person/physical applications — only the official online Objection Tracker will be considered
- Clearly mention the question number, the answer you believe is correct, and attach a scanned copy/reference of the supporting textbook page
- TRB subject experts will examine all valid objections before finalising the answer key
|
How to Calculate Your Probable Score Using the Answer Key
- Step 1: Download both your Response Sheet (your marked answers) and the Provisional Answer Key from the official portal
- Step 2: Compare your response for each question number against the official key
- Step 3: Award +1 mark for every correct match — remember, there is no negative marking in TNTET, so wrong or unattempted answers simply score 0, with no deduction
- Step 4: Add up your total score out of 150 for the paper you appeared in
- Step 5: Compare your probable score against the category-wise qualifying marks (given below) to estimate whether you are likely to qualify
Note: This is only a tentative self-assessment — your final, official score will be based on the Final Answer Key after all valid objections are resolved, which may slightly change a few answers.

Preparation Tips While You Await the Final Result
- Cross-check every question carefully: Go question-by-question against your response sheet — don’t just estimate; a precise self-check gives you a realistic idea of your qualifying chances
- Only raise objections with solid proof: Since TRB accepts only standard textbook references, don’t waste your objection attempt on notes/guides-based claims — they will be rejected outright
- Don’t wait till the last day: Submit objections early within the 15–22 July window to avoid last-minute portal traffic or technical issues
- Keep documents ready: If you clear this Special TET, keep your certificates and service records organised, as they’ll be needed for future promotion/regularisation processes tied to TET clearance
- Track official updates only: Rely solely on trb.tn.gov.in for the final key and result date — avoid unverified WhatsApp/Telegram forwards claiming early results
