• As on 01 August 2026, the candidate’s age must not be less than 18 years and not more than 37 years
• Age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be given as per the guidelines of the Punjab Government
• Instructions issued vide Number 7/204/2012-4 Edu.P.-1/66, dated 15.01.2015, will apply for age relaxation and related matters

• The Management Committee reserves the right to adopt any selection criteria for filling the posts, depending on the number of candidates, which may include a Punjabi Language Test / Written Test / Skilled Test-cum-Interview, or a combination of these
• Candidates will be issued an online Admit Card on the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Secretariat website for the written test/Skilled Test-cum-Interview, which must be printed and carried to the test/interview venue

Punjabi Language Requirement

• Candidates must have cleared Punjabi in Matric or equivalent standard as part of the eligibility criteria
• Proof of Punjabi language qualification (Matric Certificate/Marksheet showing Punjabi as a subject) must be uploaded while filling the online application form
• This is a mandatory declaration in the online application, verified through the “Punjabi Proficiency Verification” section of the form

How to Apply Online for Punjab Vidhan Sabha Group D Recruitment 2026

• Visit the official Punjab Vidhan Sabha jobs portal — punjabassembly.gov.in/public/jobs
• Locate Advertisement No. 01/2026 — “Recruitment of Group D Post” and click “Apply”
• Fill in the Basic Details — post applied for, candidate name (as per school certificate), father’s/mother’s name, date of birth, gender, marital status, email ID, and mobile number
• Enter your email ID and mobile number, click “Get OTP”, then verify using the OTP received on your mobile
• Upload your recent passport-size photograph and scanned signature (JPG format, light background, as per prescribed specifications)
• Fill in your Contact Details — mailing and permanent address
• Select your Category for the post and upload your DOB proof (Birth Certificate/School Certificate)
• Fill in your Educational Qualification details (Board/University, year, percentage/grade) and upload the relevant certificate/marksheet; the application fee will be auto-calculated based on your category
• Upload your Domicile Certificate (if you hold a Punjab Domicile Certificate) and confirm your Nationality
• Answer the Person with Disability question and confirm Punjabi Proficiency, uploading supporting documents as required
• Complete the Criminal Proceedings Declaration and Government Service Details sections truthfully
• Enter the Captcha exactly as displayed, tick the Declaration checkbox, and click “Preview & Submit”
• Review all details on the Application Preview screen; click “Edit” if changes are needed, or “Confirm & Submit” if everything is correct
• On the Payment Preview screen, click “Pay Now”, select your preferred payment method (Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI/NetBanking/Wallets), and complete the fee payment
• Once payment is successful, download and print the Payment Receipt and the submitted application form for your records

• Recent Passport-Size Colour Photograph (JPG format, light background, max 2 MB)
