Probation Period & Service Bond

• Probation: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 12 months (1 year) of active service from the date of joining
• Service Bond (JMG/S-I): Minimum 3 years’ service in the Bank, or pay an amount equivalent to 3 months’ gross salary (not exceeding ₹2 lakhs) if leaving before completing 3 years
• Service Bond (MMG/S-II, MMG/S-III & SMG/S-IV): Minimum 3 years’ service in the Bank, or pay an amount equivalent to 3 months’ gross salary (not exceeding ₹3 lakhs) if leaving before completing 3 years
• Bond duration and payable amount are subject to revision as per the Bank’s prevailing policies and will be communicated in the offer letter

• Candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
• A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with intent to permanently settle in India — subject to a Government of India eligibility certificate
