A total of 50 Technician (Vocational) Apprentice vacancies are available across 13 designated ITI trades, including Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Mechanic Diesel, Shipwright and Electronics Mechanic.

Naval Ship Repair Yard (Sri Vijaya Puram) invites online applications from ITI-qualified Indian National candidates (both Male and Female) for the “Technician (Vocational) Apprentice Programme for One Year (IT-03 Batch)”, Training Batch 2026-27, in accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961 read with Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 (as amended). This is a training/apprenticeship engagement, not a regular Navy or government job — apprentices are paid a monthly stipend and receive practical trade training across 13 designated trades for a total of 50 vacancies. |
