Note: Selected candidates will be posted anywhere against the vacancies applied for, subject to All India Service Liability, including Hard Areas/High Altitude Areas/Remote Locality Areas/Field Areas. Candidates give a choice of three stations in order of preference, but final posting is at the department’s discretion.

Selection Process 2026

• Stage 1: Technical Trade Test & Physical Test (as applicable to the post) — candidates must qualify this before becoming eligible for the Written Test
• Stage 2: Written Examination (2 hours, 4 sections)

• Final selection to Group C posts is made solely on marks obtained in the Written Test, subject to qualifying in the Skill/Physical/Practical Test

• Aadhaar Card (must bear correct name as per School Certificate; Aadhaar prepared below age 10 not accepted)

Special Category Requirements

• OBC Candidates: Must submit an Undertaking in the format given as Appendix-IV, along with the OBC certificate declaring non-Creamy Layer status
• EWS Candidates: Must submit Income & Asset Certificate as per Appendix-II, in the prescribed format from the competent authority
• Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Must submit Discharge Certificate and an Undertaking in the format given as Appendix-III
• PWD Candidates: Must submit a Medical Certificate from a Central/State Govt Medical Board (minimum 3 members, including a specialist), certifying at least 40% disability, in the format given as Appendix-V
• Serving Defence/Central Govt Employees: Must enclose a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from their Record Office/establishment, confirming no disciplinary action pending
