AKTU has declared the UPTAC 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result on 18 July 2026 on the official counselling portal, uptac.samarth.edu.in. This result follows the closure of Round 1 Choice Filling on 16 July 2026, after which the authority processed all locked preferences based on JEE Main 2026 rank, category, and seat availability across participating institutes. Important Note on Revised Counselling Schedule

Attention: AKTU had earlier notified a tentative schedule where Round 1 Choice Filling was expected in June and the Round 1 Result was tentatively expected around 27 June 2026. This schedule was subsequently revised — the actual Round 1 Choice Filling took place from 13–16 July 2026, and the Round 1 Result was declared on 18 July 2026 as per the updated calendar. How to Check UPTAC 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result

• Visit the official UPTAC counselling website — uptac.samarth.edu.in
• Click on the “UPTAC 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result” link on the homepage or login section
• Login using your Application Number/Registration Number (or Registered Email ID) and Password

What to Do If You Did NOT Get a Seat in Round 1

• Do not panic — UPTAC has 4 main rounds plus an internal sliding round and 2 special rounds, giving multiple further opportunities
• Widen your choice list significantly before Round 2 choice filling opens on 21 July 2026 — add more private/self-financed colleges, less-competitive branches (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Chemical Engineering), and colleges in tier-2/tier-3 UP cities
• Review the previous year’s closing ranks for your target colleges and branches to set realistic expectations for Round 2
