How to Download Your Response Sheet & Provisional Answer Key

• Visit the official website — wbjeeb.nic.in/anm-gnm
• Check the Notice Dashboard on the right side of the homepage
• Click on the notice titled “Provisional/Model Answer Key of ANM & GNM 2026”
• Log in using your Application Number and Password
• View your scanned OMR Response Sheet and the corresponding Model Answer Key on screen
• Download and save both documents as PDF for your records
• Note your Question Booklet Number, as it’s displayed alongside your response

Objection/Challenge Process (For Reference — Window Now Closed)

• Objections were accepted only through the official online portal — no email or offline submissions were considered valid
• Candidates could challenge any number of questions
• A non-refundable fee of ₹500 per question challenged was required, payable via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI
• Challenges without successful fee payment were not reviewed
• The window closed at 11:59 PM on 11 July 2026

How to Calculate Your Probable Score

• Open your downloaded Response Sheet (shows your OMR-recorded answer for each question)
• Open the Provisional/Model Answer Key side by side
• Match your response against the correct answer for every question
• Add +1 mark for every correct match
• Deduct 0.25 mark for every incorrect match
• Award 0 marks for any question left unattempted
• Sum the total to get your estimated raw score
• As a rough benchmark, recent-year trends suggest General category candidates aiming for top government institutes should target a solid score comfortably above the mid-range — but treat this only as a loose guide, not a guarantee, until the official cutoff is out

What Happens Next — After the Final Answer Key

• Step 1: WBJEEB reviews all valid objections received during the challenge window
• Step 2: Final Answer Key is published in the public domain — no login required to view it
• Step 3: Result/Scorecard is prepared strictly based on the Final Answer Key
• Step 4: Result & Rank Card released under candidate login (Application Number + Date of Birth) — separate merit ranks for ANM(R) and GNM
• Step 5: Category-wise cutoff released along with the result/merit list
• Step 6: Online Counselling begins in three rounds — Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-Up

How to Check Result & Rank Card (Once Declared)

• Visit wbjeeb.nic.in/anm-gnm
• Look for the “Result” or “Rank Card” notice on the dashboard
• Log in with your Application Number and Date of Birth
• Your rank card will display Name, Roll Number, Application Number, Date of Birth, Category, Total Marks, Rank, and Qualifying Status
• Download and save the rank card — it’s required for the counselling process

Grievance Process (If You Spot an Error in Your Result)

• Candidates can calculate their own score using the machine-read response and the Final Answer Key
• For an official calculation sheet from the Board, candidates typically need to apply with a demand draft of ₹500 in favour of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board,” payable at Kolkata (based on the Board’s standard practice in recent years)
• This facility is usually available for 60 days after the result declaration or until counselling concludes, whichever is later
