NEET PG 2026 City Intimation Slip — Latest Update

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is releasing the NEET PG 2026 City Intimation Slip on 11 August 2026, as per the official schedule. This slip lets registered candidates check the city (not the exact centre address) where their NEET PG 2026 exam will be conducted. NBE had recently closed the last correction/rectification window for the NEET PG 2026 application form, and the city allotment slip is being released immediately after that window, in line with the standard process followed in previous cycles. The full centre address and reporting instructions will come separately with the admit card, expected on 27 August 2026, ahead of the 30 August 2026 exam.

How to Download NEET PG 2026 City Intimation Slip

• Visit the official NBEMS website — natboard.edu.in
• Click on “Examination” and select the NEET-PG link
• Click on the “Application” link, which opens the NEET PG 2026 session page
• Click on the “Login” link and enter your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth
• On your dashboard, locate and click the City Intimation Slip link
• Your allotted exam city will be displayed on screen
• Download and take a printout of the slip for your records

Note: Some candidates may also receive the city intimation slip directly on their registered email ID, based on the process followed in earlier cycles.

What the City Intimation Slip Does (and Doesn’t) Tell You

• The slip confirms only the city allotted for your exam — not the exact exam centre, address, or reporting time
• It is NOT the admit card — a separate NEET PG 2026 admit card with full venue details will be released later (expected 27 August 2026)
• It helps candidates plan travel and accommodation in advance of the exam date
• In some previous cycles, candidates have reported the slip showing only the state instead of the specific city — if this happens, wait for the admit card for exact details, and contact NBEMS helpdesk if the discrepancy persists

How Test City/State Allotment Works

• At the time of application, candidates select three preferred Test States for NEET-PG 2026
• The first preferred Test State must mandatorily be the candidate’s Correspondence Address state
• The remaining two preferred states are typically chosen from states neighbouring the correspondence state
• NBEMS tries to allot a test city within the correspondence state; if unavailable, a city in one of the neighbouring preferred states may be allotted
• City/state allotment is entirely at NBEMS’s discretion and cannot be requested or changed by the candidate after allotment

• Note down your allotted city and begin planning travel/accommodation early, as exam-time bookings can get expensive close to the date
• Do not finalize travel bookings for the exact centre address yet — wait for the admit card, which carries the precise venue

• If the slip shows an incorrect or unclear city (e.g., only a state name), note it and be ready to raise a grievance with NBEMS if not resolved by the time the admit card is released
