How to Download AFCAT 2 Admit Card 2026

• Visit the official AFCAT website — afcat.cdac.in
• On the homepage, look for the link “Admit Card for AFCAT is available for download through Candidate Login”
• Click the link to open the Candidate Login page
• Enter your registered Email ID and Password
• Solve the Captcha code and click “Sign In”
• Your AFCAT 2 Admit Card 2026 will appear on screen — carefully check all details (Name, Roll Number, Exam Centre, Date, Reporting Time, Photograph, Signature)
• Download and take a clear printout on A4-size paper
• The admit card is also typically emailed to your registered email ID — check that too, including spam/junk folder

Exam City Intimation Slip — Not the Same as Admit Card

• Before the actual admit card, IAF releases an Exam City Intimation Slip, informing candidates of their allotted exam city/district
• This slip helps candidates plan travel and accommodation in advance
• It shows basic details — exam date, city name, and shift timing — but does NOT permit entry to the exam hall
• Candidates must download the separate Admit Card for actual exam day entry, once released
• Request for change of allotted exam centre/city is generally not entertained

Documents to Carry on Exam Day

• Printout of AFCAT 2 2026 Admit Card (A4 size, clear print)
• Original Aadhaar Card (photocopies NOT accepted)
• A second valid photo ID proof in original — PAN Card / Passport / Driving Licence / Voter ID
• Two passport-size colour photographs — same as uploaded during registration
• A Blue or Black Ballpoint Pen for signing the attendance sheet and rough work

AFCAT 2 2026 Exam Pattern (Recap)

• Mode: Online, Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Total Questions: 100 MCQs | Total Marks: 300 (3 marks per question)
• Negative Marking: 1 mark deducted for every wrong answer
• Sections: English, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Reasoning & Military Aptitude
• Technical Branch candidates also attempt the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) — a separate 45-minute paper, conducted after the main AFCAT paper on the same day
• Candidates should reach the exam centre 30–45 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card

Selection Process After the Written Exam

• Stage 1: AFCAT Written Exam (+ EKT for Technical branch candidates)
• Stage 2: AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) Interview — conducted over 5 days, including Psychological Tests, Group Testing, and Personal Interview
• Stage 3: Document Verification
• Stage 4: Medical Examination, conducted by IAF Medical Board
• Stage 5: Final Merit List & Training at Air Force Academy, subject to vacancy availability
