🔴 Result Highlights — What Happened Today (12 August 2026)

• BSE Odisha officially announced that the Supplementary HSC (Class 10) 2026 and State Open School Certificate (SOSC) 2026 (2nd) results would be published the same day at 4:30 PM via press release, with the online result link going live from 5:00 PM
• Students who could not clear one or two subjects in the regular/annual Class 10 exam (held February–March 2026) and appeared for the supplementary/compartment paper in July can now view their qualifying status
• The board has reported an overall pass percentage of 63.64% for the HSC Supplementary Examination 2026
• The online marksheet available today is provisional — the original certificate must be collected from the respective school
• Digital/original certificates for successful candidates can be downloaded from bse.odisha.gov.in starting 17 August 2026

About BSE Odisha & the Supplementary Exam

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha is the state-level authority responsible for conducting the Class 10 (HSC/Matric) board examinations and declaring results for lakhs of students every year. Students who fail to clear the minimum passing criteria in one or two subjects during the annual examination get a second chance through the Supplementary (also called Compartment or Instant) Examination, which is usually conducted a few months after the annual result, allowing them to save their academic year instead of repeating the entire class.

This year, along with the Class 10 supplementary result, BSE Odisha also released the 2nd result of the State Open School Certificate Examination (SOSC) 2026 on the same day.

How to Check BSE Odisha HSC Supplementary Result 2026 Online

• Visit the official BSE Odisha result website — www.bseodisha.ac.in or www.bseodisha.nic.in (alternatively, orissaresults.nic.in)
• On the homepage, click on the link titled “HSC Supplementary Result 2026” or “Odisha Matric Compartment Result 2026”
• A new result login window will open — enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth (some portals also allow a name-based search)
• Enter the Date of Birth in the format DD/MM/YYYY exactly as printed on your admit card
• Click on “Submit” / “Find Result”
• Your BSE Odisha HSC Supplementary Result 2026 will be displayed on screen with subject-wise marks and qualifying status
• Download the provisional marksheet and take a printout for safekeeping until the original certificate is issued

• Open the messaging app on any mobile phone

What to Do After Checking Your Result

If You Have Passed

• Download and save the provisional online marksheet immediately
• Wait for the digital/original certificate to become downloadable (from 17 August 2026 onward) or collect it from your school as instructed
• Preserve the marksheet safely — it is required for admission into Class 11 (+2) and for future competitive exam applications
• Proceed with your Class 11 (+2) admission process in your chosen stream — Science, Commerce, or Arts

If You Have Not Passed

• Candidates who do not clear the supplementary examination as well will generally need to repeat the academic year and reappear for the full Class 10 examination in the next cycle
