What Does “R.L.” Mean in HPBOSE Result?

“R.L.” stands for Result Later — it means the result is under process or has been withheld, usually pending verification of some record. Students who see “R.L.” on their result should contact their school or the HPBOSE office directly for clarification and further status.

After the Result: Re-Evaluation & Re-Checking Process

• Candidates who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for Re-Checking (verification of total marks) or Re-Evaluation (complete re-assessment of the answer sheet)
• Applications must be submitted online through the concerned school only, on the official HPBOSE website
• Re-Evaluation Fee: ₹1,000/- per subject (as per previous cycle’s fee structure)
• Re-Checking Fee: ₹800/- per subject (as per previous cycle’s fee structure)
• To apply for Re-Evaluation, the candidate must have scored at least 20% marks in the relevant subject
• Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered valid
• The re-evaluation/re-checking window typically stays open for about 2-3 months after the result — exact dates will be notified once the supplementary result is declared
