GSSSB MPHW 2026 Preparation Strategy

  • Part-B (Technical) carries the highest weightage — 120 out of 210 marks. Focus first on your MPHW/Sanitary Inspector core subjects: Mental Health, Communication & Health Education, Oral Health & Hygiene, Health Committees & Schemes, Common Diseases, Birth-Death Registration Act, and Yoga/Holistic Health
  • Health Committees & Schemes alone carries 30 marks — learn the Bhore, Mudaliar, Chadah, Mukherji, Jungalwalla, Kartar Singh and Shrivastav Committees along with National Health Policy and current Government schemes thoroughly
  • Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude: Practice Data Interpretation, Number Series, Percentage, Time-Speed-Distance, Coding-Decoding and Puzzles for speed and accuracy
  • Constitution of India & Current Affairs: Revise Fundamental Rights/Duties, Directive Principles, and stay updated on recent state, national and international events
  • Comprehension: Practice Gujarati and English reading-comprehension passages separately, since each carries independent marks
  • Since Part-A and Part-B each need a separate 40% qualifying score, don’t neglect either section even if you’re strong in your technical subject
  • Avoid guesswork — with 0.25 negative marking, attempt only questions you’re reasonably confident about
  • Take regular mock tests in CBRT format to build speed for the 210-question, 180-minute exam.
