Route 1:

• Matriculate or equivalent from any recognized Board
• Valid Mining Sirdarship Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 (or any other certificate entitling the applicant to work as Mining Sirdar as per CMR 2017)
• Valid Gas Testing Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate

Route 2:

• Matriculate or equivalent from any recognized Board
• Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering from any recognized Institute
• Valid Overman Competency Certificate issued by DGMS under CMR 2017 (or any other certificate entitling the applicant to work as Mining Sirdar as per CMR 2017)
• Valid Gas Testing Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate

Note: Non-attachment of required/legible documents will lead to outright rejection of the application. A candidate can apply for only ONE post; if multiple applications are received, the most recent one will be considered final.

TA/DA & Travel Reimbursement for SC/ST Candidates

• SC/ST candidates called for CBT will be paid up to 2nd Class Non-AC train fare as per rules
• Claims must be submitted in the prescribed TA Claim format along with caste certificate and journey tickets/receipts to the room invigilator immediately after attempting the CBT — claims submitted later or with incomplete information will NOT be entertained
• Distance is calculated from the candidate’s permanent address or actual journey point, whichever is shorter
• No TA/DA is paid for document scrutiny/verification, or for joining after selection

Important Points Candidates Must Know

• Selected candidates can be posted at ANY Mine/Establishment of NCL and are liable for transfer to other CIL subsidiaries anytime during their service
• Appointment is subject to being found medically fit as per CIL’s Medical Attendance Rules
• Government/PSU employees (including departmental candidates) must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at document verification, and must resign from their current job before joining NCL if finally selected
• Using unfair means, impersonation, or misbehaviour during CBT leads to disqualification and possible criminal prosecution/future debarment
• Furnishing false information regarding qualification, category or experience leads to termination even after appointment confirmation
• If CBT is conducted in multiple shifts, scores will be normalized using a standard statistical formula to ensure fairness across shifts
• Court of Jurisdiction for any dispute is the Honorable High Court of Jabalpur, M.P.
