How to Download the JCECEB Round 1 Seat Allotment Letter

• Visit the official engineering counselling portal — engg.jceceb.org.in
• Click on the link marked “Click Here For All Online Counselling” or the direct “Round 1 Seat Allotment Letter” notice
• Log in using your Application Number and Password generated at the time of registration
• Your allotted institute, branch, and category will be displayed on screen
• Download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter and take multiple printouts for reporting
• Pay the ₹1,000 admission confirmation fee online, if you wish to accept the allotted seat, before proceeding to document verification

Eligibility Criteria for Jharkhand B.Tech Admission 2026

• Candidate must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Entrepreneurship (Business Studies)
• Candidates who have passed D.Voc. (Diploma in Vocation) in the same or an allied sector, as per the AICTE Approval Process Handbook, are also eligible
• Candidate must be an Indian citizen
• For state-quota seats, candidates must be a Local/Permanent Resident of Jharkhand and must possess a valid Local Resident Certificate issued by the competent authority
• A valid JEE Main 2026 Paper-I score/rank is required to be considered under the JEE Main-based state merit list route (separate from the JCECE-direct exam route)
