Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 42 Years
- Age will be calculated as on the closing date of online registration.
- Age relaxation for eligible categories will be applicable as per Haryana Government instructions.
- Candidates working on Adhoc/Contract/Work-Charged/Daily Wages basis in Haryana Government departments may claim age relaxation as per prescribed rules and valid experience certificate.
- Experience for age relaxation will be counted only after acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.
- The experience certificate must be issued by the competent authority of the concerned Haryana Government Department/Board/Corporation.

Education Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized Board.
- Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matriculation level as one of the subjects.
- The above qualification is applicable for all Group D posts except Sweeper, Chowkidar, and Sweeper-cum-Chowkidar posts.
- Candidates must possess the required educational qualification on or before the prescribed cut-off/closing date.
- Candidates who do not have Hindi/Sanskrit as prescribed in the notification are liable for rejection of candidature.

Selection Process 2026
- Submit the online application form and pay the prescribed fee within the stipulated dates.
- Appear for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) – Group D conducted by HSSC.
- The CET examination will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 100 marks.
- Candidates must secure the prescribed qualifying marks:
- General Category: 50%
- Reserved Categories: 40%
- HSSC will prepare the CET result and eligibility list based on candidates’ performance in the examination.
- Separate recruitment advertisements for Group D vacancies will be issued by HSSC after the CET process.
- Eligible candidates may be shortlisted for post-wise recruitment based on CET scores and other conditions prescribed in future vacancy notifications.
- Document Verification (DV) will be conducted as per the requirements of the concerned recruitment advertisement.
- Final selection and appointment will be made by the concerned authority according to the applicable recruitment rules and vacancy notification.

HSSC Group D Salary 2026
- Pay Scale: ₹16,900 – ₹53,500 per month
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹16,900 per month
- Grade Pay (Expected): ₹1,650
- Approximate Gross Salary: ₹29,000 – ₹30,000 per month
- Approximate In-Hand Salary: ₹24,000 – ₹25,000 per month
- Maximum Basic Pay: ₹53,500 per month

HSSC Group D Medical Standards
- The HSSC CET Group D 2026 notification does not prescribe any specific medical standards or physical fitness criteria for appearing in the CET examination.
- Candidates must ensure that they are medically fit to perform the duties of the post for which they are eventually selected.
- Any medical examination requirement will be specified in the post-wise recruitment advertisement issued after the CET process.
- The concerned department or appointing authority may conduct a medical fitness test before final appointment, if required under the applicable service rules.
- Candidates found medically unfit during any prescribed medical examination may be declared ineligible for appointment to the concerned post.
- Details regarding eyesight, physical fitness, disability standards, or other health requirements are not mentioned in the current HSSC CET Group D 2026 notification.

- Log in to the application portal.
