Note: Candidates must choose any three centres of their preference and convenience. No request for change of centre/venue/date/session will be entertained, and the choice once exercised is final. The Bank reserves the right to allot a candidate to any centre other than the one opted for.

Selection Process 2026

• Stage 1: Online Written Test — 200 marks across 5 sections, 145 minutes
• Stage 2: Personal Interview — for candidates successful in the Online Written Test
• Stage 3: Appointment Letter — issued to selected candidates for joining as Specialist Cadre, subject to being found medically fit

How to Apply for Nainital Bank SO Recruitment 2026

• Go to the career section of the Bank’s website — www.nainitalbank.bank.in — and click “Current Openings” under the Recruitment tab, then “APPLY ONLINE”
• Choose “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email ID — a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated
• Note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password (also sent via Email & SMS)
• Use “SAVE AND NEXT” to fill the form in stages and verify details before final submission
• Upload Photograph and Signature as per the specified guidelines, then fill remaining application details
• Use the Preview tab to verify the entire form before clicking “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” — no changes are possible afterward
• Proceed to the ‘Payment’ tab and complete the fee payment online
• Click ‘Submit’ and take a printout of the e-Receipt and completed application form for future reference

Photograph, Signature & Document Scan Specifications

• Photograph: Recent colour passport-style photo, 4.5cm × 3.5cm, light/white background, 200×230 pixels (preferred), file size 20KB–50KB, JPG/JPEG format
• Signature: Signed in black ink on white paper, 140×60 pixels (preferred), file size 10KB–20KB, NOT in capital letters
• Left Thumb Impression: On white paper with black or blue ink, 240×240 pixels at 200 DPI (3cm × 3cm), file size 20KB–50KB
• Handwritten Declaration: Handwritten in English only, 800×400 pixels at 200 DPI (10cm × 5cm), file size 50KB–100KB

Handwritten Declaration Text: “I, ___ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

Note: Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not acceptable in the photograph (religious headwear allowed if it does not cover the face). Candidates will also need to capture a live photo via webcam or mobile phone during registration.

Identity Verification & Documents Required

• Call letter/admit card (original printout with a recent photograph affixed)
• Valid Photo ID Proof — PAN Card / Passport / Permanent Driving Licence / Voter’s Card / Bank Passbook with photograph / Aadhaar or E-Aadhaar with photograph / Employee ID / Bar Council ID, etc.
• Ration Card and Learner’s Driving Licence are NOT valid ID proof
• Photocopy of the same photo ID proof brought in original

Note: The name on the call letter must exactly match the name on the photo ID proof — female candidates who changed their name post-marriage must take special care. Candidates who have changed their name will be allowed only on producing an original Gazette notification, marriage certificate, or affidavit.

Facilities for PwBD Candidates

• Visually impaired candidates and those with permanently affected writing speed may use their own scribe (arranged and paid for by the candidate) during the online examination
• Candidates using a scribe are eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination
• Visually impaired candidates (40%+ disability) may also opt to view test content in magnified font
• A compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour is also permitted for candidates with locomotor disability and cerebral palsy where the dominant writing hand is affected (minimum 40% impairment)
• For candidates with less than 40% disability but difficulty in writing (covered under Section 2(s) but not 2(r) of the RPWD Act, 2016), the scribe/compensatory time facility is granted only on production of a certificate from a competent medical authority as per the prescribed proforma (Appendix-I), along with a joint undertaking (Appendix-II)
• The scribe’s qualification must be one step below that of the candidate, and a scribe cannot serve two candidates for the same exam

Important Instructions & General Terms

• A candidate may apply for only ONE post — multiple applications result in retention of only the latest one, with fees for the others forfeited
• Experience certificates must specifically mention experience in Banks/NBFCs/FIs/Fintech to be considered valid
• Selected candidates can be posted/transferred to any existing or proposed branch/office of the Bank as per banking exigencies
• The Bank reserves the right to change the name/designation of a post, and to cancel or modify the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason
• Details submitted online (Name, Category, DOB, Address, Mobile, Email, Exam Centre, etc.) are treated as final — no changes are entertained after submission
• Application fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances, including if the application is rejected
• Candidates found guilty of using unfair means, impersonation, misbehaviour, or carrying mobile phones/electronic devices in the exam/interview hall may be disqualified, debarred from future Bank exams, or have their service terminated if already appointed
• A candidate can appear only once in the online examination for a post — multiple appearances lead to cancellation of candidature
• The Bank is not liable for printing errors, if any, in the notification
