KRCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27; 134 Posts, Eligibility, Stipend & Document Verification Dates OPEN

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Government of India Undertaking, has released Notification No. CO/APPR/2026/01 dated 7 August 2026 announcing a Special Drive to engage Apprentice Trainees under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 (as amended) through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).

This is a fresh recruitment cycle distinct from KRCL’s earlier 2026 apprentice drive — this time, KRCL is directly calling eligible Engineering Graduates,

Diploma Holders, and General Stream Graduates for Document Verification, rather than running a separate online application window first.

A total of 134 apprenticeship training slots are on offer across Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering streams (both Degree and Diploma level), plus General Stream Graduate slots for candidates holding degrees such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA and similar.

Candidates who passed out during 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 are eligible, provided they hold a valid, approved NATS ID at the time of Document Verification.

Unlike a typical online-application recruitment, this Special Drive works on a walk-in Document Verification model — eligible candidates must report in person to KRCL’s designated venue in Navi Mumbai on the specified date for their subject, carrying all original certificates.

Selection will be based purely on the aggregate percentage of marks across all semesters/years, with special preference given to Land Loser candidates and to residents of KRCL’s operational jurisdiction districts.

Below is a complete breakdown of the notification — post-wise slots, document verification schedule, eligibility, stipend, required documents, and the selection and training terms — along with answers to the questions candidates are asking most.
