Important Clarification — What This Recruitment Actually Is

This is not a conventional direct-recruitment drive for permanent posts. Hartron is updating its standing panel of Junior Programmers, engaged purely on a job-work basis across Haryana’s districts, as per State Reservation Policy. Merely clearing the test and getting onto the panel does not guarantee a job placement — a candidate is recommended for deployment only when Hartron receives a confirmed requirement from an “indenting organization” (a government department/body that requests staff through Hartron). This is part of Hartron’s broader rolling empanelment process for Computer Professionals, which is updated on a running basis roughly every alternate month.

Important Dates 2026

• Online Application Start Date: 30 July 2026
• Last Date to Apply Online: 09 August 2026
• Admit Card Download: From 12 August 2026 onwards
• 1st Test (Domain Knowledge Test): Date to be notified via admit card
• Training (for candidates who clear 1st Test): Approx. one month after clearing 1st test
• 2nd Test (Practical/Project Test): After successful completion of training
• Result & Panel Formation: Based on merit and reservation roster, after both tests

Note: No individual communication (email/SMS/post) will be sent to candidates at any stage — candidates must regularly check hartron.org.in and public notices in newspapers for updates.

Eligibility Criteria — Qualification

A candidate must satisfy any one of the following, with a minimum of 55% marks:

• Graduate (55% marks) with PGDCA / PDCA / PGDIT / APGDCA
• OR BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) / MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) / B.Tech / M.Tech (in any stream), with 55% marks
• OR Three-Year Diploma in Computer Application/IT from SBTE/University, or an ‘A’/’B’/’C’ Level course from DOE/NIELIT, with 55% marks

Note: Candidates holding an MCA/M.Tech obtained through Distance Education or on a part-time basis must ensure the degree/course is approved/permitted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). All eligibility conditions must be fulfilled as on the closing date of the online application.

How to Apply Online for Hartron Junior Programmer Recruitment 2026

• Visit Hartron’s official website — hartron.org.in
• Open the online application link for “Updation of Panel of Junior Programmers”
• Fill in the application form carefully, selecting only one district (a candidate can apply for one district only)
• Upload the required documents and details as per the eligibility conditions
• Pay the applicable application fee based on your category and gender, as per the fee table above
• Submit the application before 09 August 2026
• Download your admit card from the website from 12 August 2026 onwards — no individual communication will be sent

Reservation & Other Important Conditions

• Reservation benefits follow Haryana Government instructions (Letter No. 22/10/2013-1GS-III dated 15.07.2014, and subsequent amendments up to the date of advertisement)
• Reservation benefit is available only to bonafide residents of Haryana among SC/BCA/BCB/EWS/PWD/ESM candidates, with supporting documents held as on the last date of application; without proof, candidature is considered under the General/parent category
• EWS certificates must meet Haryana Government’s own criteria — EWS certificates issued for Central Government jobs are not accepted
• Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and family-member reservation benefit follows detailed Haryana Government instructions, including a priority order: disabled ESM → family of disabled ESM → other eligible ESM → family of other eligible ESM
• Freedom Fighter children/grandchildren reservation requires a certificate from the competent authority, per Government Instruction No. 22/49/2021-1GS-III
• PwBD candidates eligible for a scribe get 20 minutes per hour of compensatory time (5 minutes for Data Entry Operator posts)
• If a candidate’s claimed reserved category is not advertised for a post, they may apply under the General category and will be assessed purely on merit
• Success in the test confers no right to deployment — deployment happens only after Hartron/the concerned department is satisfied the candidate is suitable in all respects
• False or incorrect information found at any verification stage leads to cancellation of candidature and possible criminal prosecution
• A candidate already placed on the panel for a post cannot re-apply for that post for at least 6 months

About Hartron’s Rolling Panel-Empanelment Process

Junior Programmer is one of several Computer Professional categories that Hartron empanels on a rolling basis (roughly every alternate month), which also includes Software Developer & Mobile Application Developer, Junior Software Developer, Sr. System Analyst, System Analyst, Programmer/Data Analyst, Networking Engineer, Web Designer, Junior Programmers/Jr. Data Analysts/Networking Assistants, and DTP Operator. Data Entry Operator recruitment is advertised separately from this process. The tentative monthly cycle runs: requirement update & application (1st week) → 1st test & document scrutiny (2nd week) → training (3rd week onwards, one month) → 2nd test → result declaration — though the schedule can be revised as per suitability, and the number of posts can increase or decrease depending on actual requirement.

• This is a panel-based, job-work engagement, not a guaranteed permanent placement — understand the deployment-on-requirement model before applying
• You can apply for only one district, so choose carefully based on where you’d realistically be deployed
• Candidates applying for similar-nature posts (Programmer, Junior Software Developer, System Analyst, etc.) across multiple districts undergo a single training for the highest post, on payment of a ₹1,500 refundable fee
