Patliputra University (PPU) was established in 2018 by the Government of Bihar and covers a network of affiliated colleges across Patna district. Admission to undergraduate programmes at PPU is conducted entirely on a merit basis using Class 12 marks — there is no separate entrance examination for BA, B.Sc, or B.Com courses. For the 2026–30 academic session, PPU introduced the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP), a new academic structure implemented under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, following the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). How to Check & Download PPU UG 3rd Merit List / Offer Letter — Step by Step

• Visit the official Samarth admission portal — ppupadm.samarth.edu.in
• Click on “Applicant Login (UG)” on the homepage
• Enter your registered User ID and Password
• Click “Login”
• On your candidate dashboard, go to the “Merit List” or “Offer Letter” section
• If selected, your offer letter will display your allotted college, course, and enrollment fee details
• Click “Download” (or “Print Admission Offer”) to save the offer letter as a PDF
• Take a printout of the offer letter for the admission process

Important: Unlike some university merit lists, the PPU merit list is NOT a single public PDF listing all selected candidates. Each applicant must individually log in to the Samarth portal to check their own personal selection status and download their offer letter.

Steps to Complete Admission After the 3rd Merit List

• Step 1 — Download Offer Letter: Log in and download your 3rd merit list offer/allotment letter from the Samarth portal
• Step 2 — Pay Enrollment Fee Online: Pay the enrollment fee mentioned in your offer letter through the same online portal
• Step 3 — Download & Print All Documents: After payment, download and print the Payment Slip and Application Form (Aavedan Patra), along with your Offer Letter — three documents in total
• Step 4 — Report to Allotted College: Visit your allotted college (NOT the PPU main campus) between 10 AM and 4 PM on a working day within the admission window, i.e. by 06 August 2026
• Step 5 — Submit Documents for Verification: Submit your printed documents and original certificates (with one set of photocopies) at the college admission desk
• Step 6 — Get Marked “Validated”: Once verified, the college will mark your enrollment as “Validated” in the Samarth Portal, completing your admission

Critical Rule: Patliputra University has a strict policy — candidates who do NOT appear for enrollment within the prescribed window will have their candidature for all subsequent PPU merit list rounds automatically and permanently cancelled.
