Note: BCECEB has clarified that choice filling is a one-time process — candidates who fail to submit their choices in Round 1 will not get another opportunity in subsequent rounds. The board also does not entertain internet/technical issues as a reason for missed deadlines, so candidates are advised to complete choice filling well before the last date.

Who Is Eligible to Check Round 1 Allotment?

• Candidates who qualified BCECE (LE) 2026 and hold a valid rank card
• Candidates who completed online choice filling and locked their preferences within the notified window (13–21/23 July 2026)
• Admission is offered for lateral entry into the 2nd year of eligible Engineering, Paramedical, and Pharmacy programmes — based on Diploma/B.Sc. qualification, as applicable to the stream
• Candidates who did not complete choice filling in Round 1 are not eligible for consideration in later rounds, as per BCECEB’s one-time choice-filling policy

How to Check BCECE LE 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result

• Visit the official BCECEB website — bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
• Click on the “BCECE LE 2026” link under Examinations, then open the Notice Board/Counselling Portal for BCECE[LE]-2026
• Click on the “First Round Seat Allotment Result of BCECE[LE]-2026” link once activated
• Log in using your Application Number and Password
• Your allotted institute, branch/course, and category will be displayed on screen
• Download and print the provisional seat allotment order for document verification

Upgradation Option — What Candidates Need to Know

• Candidates unhappy with their Round 1 allotted college or branch can opt for upgradation while downloading their provisional allotment order
• Selecting the upgradation option keeps the candidate eligible for a better allotment in the next round, based on rank and remaining seat availability
• Important: Candidates who do NOT select the upgradation option will not be considered for allotment in the subsequent counselling round
• This choice must generally be made at the time of downloading the Round 1 allotment order — candidates should decide carefully before proceeding

• Diploma/Intermediate (12th)/B.Sc. Admit Card, where applicable
• Diploma/Intermediate/B.Sc. Marksheet
• Diploma/Intermediate/B.Sc. Passing Certificate (if applicable)
• Class 10 (Matriculation) Marksheet and Certificate (Date of Birth Proof)
• Category Certificate — SC/ST/BC/EBC/EWS/PwD, where applicable
• Domicile/Residence Certificate of Bihar (if applicable)
• Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, etc.)
• Recent Passport-Size Photographs
• Original documents along with one self-attested photocopy of each, as specified by BCECEB

Note: Carry both originals and photocopies to the designated Reporting/Nodal Centre for verification, as originals are returned after the check is complete.

What If You Don’t Get a Seat / Miss the Deadline?

• Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to the designated Reporting/Nodal Centre within the notified document verification schedule
• Failure to complete verification within the deadline results in cancellation of the allotted seat and disqualification from further counselling rounds — this is a strict rule under BCECE LE 2026
• Candidates who selected the upgradation option remain in contention for Round 2 for a potentially better allotment
• Candidates who did not receive a seat in Round 1 can be considered in Round 2 (and a Mop-Up Round, if conducted), subject to eligibility and seat availability, since only choice filling — not seat allotment — is a strict one-time step

• Seat allotment is based purely on BCECE (LE) 2026 merit/rank, choices filled and locked, category, and seat availability
• The registered mobile number and email ID cannot be changed during the counselling process
• If choices are not manually locked before the deadline, the system automatically locks the last-saved preferences after the closing time — no further edits are allowed once locked
• Choice filling is strictly a one-time process — plan and submit your preferences carefully in Round 1 itself
