• Tamil Nadu Class 12 (HSC) main board exams were conducted from 2 to 26 March 2026, with results declared on 8 May 2026; over 8.27 lakh students appeared, and the overall pass percentage was 95.20%
• Tamil Nadu Class 10 (SSLC) main board result was declared on 20 May 2026, with over nine lakh students having appeared
• Students who failed to clear one or more subjects, or wished to improve their score, appeared for the respective supplementary/compartment examinations in June–July 2026

How to Check TN Supplementary Result 2026

• Visit the official website — tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in
• Click on the relevant link — “TN SSLC Supplementary Result 2026” for Class 10, or “TN HSE+2 Supplementary Result 2026” for Class 12
• Enter your registration number and date of birth
• Submit the details
• Your TN Supplementary Result 2026 will be displayed on screen
• Download the provisional marksheet PDF and take a printout for safekeeping

What to Check on Your Marksheet

• Candidate’s name, registration number, and date of birth
• School/institution name
• Subject-wise marks for the subject(s) appeared in the supplementary exam
• Overall result status — Pass or Fail
• Grade/grade points, where applicable

Passing Criteria

• Students must score a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in each subject to be declared pass
• This passing criteria applies uniformly to the supplementary examination, same as the main board exam

What to Do After Checking Your Result

• If you passed: Download and keep your provisional marksheet safe — you’ll need to collect the original marksheet from your school later. Your consolidated result combining main exam and supplementary marks becomes valid for college admissions
• If you’re still not satisfied with your marks: You can apply for re-totalling or re-evaluation as per the board’s process, submitting the prescribed form along with the applicable fee (₹250, as per the standard TN board fee structure for such requests)
• Class 12 students moving to college: Many colleges do accept supplementary/compartment scores for admission, so check with your target college’s specific policy on this
