Selection Process 2026

• Mode of Selection: Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test of 120 Marks, 1½ Hours Duration (or as decided by the Aayog)
• Minimum qualifying marks: 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/Ward of Freedom Fighters candidates
• If sufficient candidates are not available at the above cut-off, the Aayog may relax the qualifying percentage by up to 5% — i.e. up to 40% for General and 35% for reserved categories
• In case of multiple shifts of CBT, scores are normalized using the Z-Score Method (Mean and Standard Deviation Method) for preparation of the merit list
• Category-wise waiting panel is prepared: up to 25 posts @ 25% (min. 2 candidates); 25–50 posts @ 15% (min. 7 candidates); above 50 posts @ 10% (min. 8 candidates)
• Document Verification of shortlisted candidates follows, based on original certificates

Engagement Terms — Assistant Staff Nurse Policy

• Governed by Notification No. HFW-B-A04/5/2025-Health-B-301504 dated 06.11.2025 (Annexure “A”)
• Engagement is purely for a period of five (5) years on consolidated fixed monthly honorarium — extendable at the discretion of the Competent Authority in public interest
• Fixed monthly honorarium: ₹25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand only)
• Assistant Staff Nurse (ASN) will not be a Government employee and has no right to regularisation against any sanctioned post
• ASN shall be eligible for medical benefit under HIMCARE/Ayushman Bharat, as applicable; Government medical rules do not apply to such appointees
• Entitled to 2 casual leaves per month; maternity leave available only after 2 years of service; other leaves as notified by the State Government

Category Certificate Validity & Correction Window
