What the Merit List Contains

Tie-Breaking Rules (When Two or More Candidates Have the Same Merit Score)

• First criterion: Candidate with the higher percentage in Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics (or Biology, as applicable) at the MHT CET exam is ranked higher
• Second criterion (if still tied): Candidate with the higher marks in Mathematics at the MHT CET exam is preferred
• Third criterion (if still tied): A higher percentage in Mathematics in the 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination is considered

How to Raise a Grievance Against the Provisional Merit List

• Log in to your candidate account at cetcell.mahacet.org using your Application ID and Date of Birth
• Navigate to the grievance/objection section for the Provisional Merit List

What Happens After the Final Merit List — CAP Round 1 Process

• Step 1 — Seat Matrix Display: Provisional category-wise and institute-wise seat availability (seat matrix) for CAP Round 1 will be published soon after the final merit list
