Candidates who registered through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) can now log in to the admission portal and check their allotted college and programme based on their CUET UG 2026 scores, eligibility criteria, reservation category, and locked preferences. According to the admission schedule,
candidates allotted a seat must accept the allotment between 16 and 18 July 2026, after which the respective colleges will verify documents and approve admissions by 20 July, while the admission fee must be paid by 21 July 2026 to confirm the seat.

How to Check Your DU CSAS 1st Allotment Result 2026
|
|
What to Do After Getting Your Allotment — Accept, Freeze, or Upgrade |
|
| Option | What It Means |
| Accept & Freeze | You confirm admission to the allotted seat and submit a “freeze” request, opting out of any future upgrades — choose this only if fully satisfied with your college/programme |
| Accept & Remain in Upgrade Pool | You take admission on the current seat but stay eligible for a better allotment (higher preference) in subsequent rounds; if upgraded, you must accept and complete admission on the new seat, or risk cancellation |
| Decline / No Action | A free exit is available for candidates who do not accept their seat after the 1st round; however, a deduction from the refundable payment applies if the seat is declined after the 2nd round onward |
| Important: Inactivity after taking admission means you retain your current seat with no further upgrades. If you fail to act on an upgraded seat in a later round, it results in cancellation and exclusion from CSAS(UG) 2026 altogether — always log in and respond within each round’s deadline.

|
| Simulated Rank Range | Colleges Typically in Reach |
| Top Ranks (High Percentile, 700+ Score) | North Campus flagship colleges — Hindu, SRCC, LSR, Hansraj, Miranda House, Ramjas (top programmes) |
| 9,000 – 12,000 | Hansraj, Ramjas, Gargi, Aryabhatta, Kalindi, Zakir Hussain (depending on programme & category) |
| Moderate/Lower Ranks | Off-campus and smaller colleges — several good options still remain, especially in later allotment rounds |

Three main rounds, plus an upgrade round, a spot round, and a mop-up round to fill all remaining seats.
Q6. What happens if I don’t respond to my allotment within the deadline?
Inactivity after taking admission retains your current seat without future upgrades, but failing to act on an upgraded seat in a later round leads to cancellation and exclusion from CSAS(UG) 2026.
