Both conditions must be satisfied at the same time. If you score 38 in any one paper but your overall total is 215, you still fail.

There is no negative marking in any paper. Paper 4 is the only one in MCQ format. Papers 1, 2, and 3 are written subjective papers.
What Changed from the Old Pattern
The old CSEET was a single-day, 200-mark, fully MCQ-based exam taken from home under remote proctoring. January 2026 was the last session in that format. From June 2026 onward, the exam is 400 marks, spread across four days at physical exam centres, and includes Fundamentals of Accounting as an entirely new subject that was never part of the old CSEET.

The June 2026 pass percentage may differ significantly from the 80% seen in the old format because three out of four papers are now subjective and Fundamentals of Accounting is a brand-new addition to the syllabus.
One Thing Most Candidates Get Wrong About CSEET Results
Result day on icsi.edu sees heavy traffic. The portal slows down, pages time out, and candidates start searching for other links to check their result. This is exactly when fake websites see their highest traffic.
Some clone ICSI’s login page and collect registration numbers. Others ask for a mobile number to “send the result via SMS.” A few even charge Rs. 10 to Rs. 20 for “priority result access.” None of these are real.
If icsi.edu is slow, wait 30 to 60 minutes and try again. Do not look for the result on any other website. Take a screenshot of your result page the moment it loads — not as a substitute for the official PDF, but as a backup in case the session times out before you can download it.
One more thing specific to June 2026: since this is the first session with subjective papers, ICSI has introduced a re-evaluation facility for CSEET — this did not exist under the old MCQ format.
