MP HC Assistant Grade-3 2026 — Selection Process at a Glance

• Stage 1 — Online Preliminary Examination: 100 marks, MCQ-based, 120 minutes; purely a screening/qualifying stage
• Stage 2 — Hindi Typing Skill Test: 50 marks, computer-based, 10 minutes; this score alone decides the final merit

MP HC Assistant Grade-3 Hindi Typing Skill Test — Exam Pattern 2026 (Official)

• Typing must be done in Remington Gail (Remington Gaeil) keyboard layout only
• Test conducted in Unrestricted Mode on a computer; candidates cannot bring their own keyboard or chair
• Delete key, Arrow keys, and Mouse remain disabled during the test — only the Backspace key can be used for corrections
• Space is available for exactly 350 words only — typing any word/sentence twice or more is counted as an error, and no extra space is provided for further typing
• A window is given before the test starts for candidates to check their allotted keyboard; faulty keyboards can be replaced by the centre invigilator before the test begins
• Candidates causing disturbance/noise or arguing unnecessarily during the test will be removed from the exam hall, their candidature cancelled, and may be barred from future MPHC exams

Exam Day Rules & Important Instructions (Official)

• Biometric registration and/or photo matching is done at the centre to confirm candidate identity before allowing entry to the exam
• Candidates cannot leave the exam centre before the exam concludes; the entire exam is conducted under CCTV surveillance with recording
• Possession of any prohibited material, electronic/communication device (mobile phone, Bluetooth device, smartwatch, calculator, etc.) inside the exam hall leads to immediate cancellation of candidature
