UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist Selection Process 2026

• Stage 1 — Shortlisting via PET-2025: Candidates are shortlisted for the Main Exam purely based on their normalized PET-2025 score, category-wise, up to 15 times the number of advertised vacancies
• Stage 2 — Main (Written) Examination: A single objective-type paper of 100 questions/100 marks; final merit is based solely on marks scored in this Main Exam
• Candidates whose PET-2025 score is zero, negative, or under Commission-level investigation (UI)/provisional status may apply conditionally, subject to the outcome of the ongoing inquiry
• Passing the written examination does not itself confer a right to appointment — the Commission reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process

How to Apply for UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist Recruitment 2026

• Visit the official website upsssc.gov.in and locate the advertisement under the “Live Advertisement Segment”
• Log in using your PET-2025 Registration Number and OTP sent to your registered mobile/email
• Personal details recorded in PET-2025 (name, category, DOB, gender, contact details, etc.) will auto-populate
• Fill in the essential educational qualification details specific to this advertisement — board/university name, year of passing, certificate number, marks
• Submit to generate your 11-digit application registration number and print a copy
• Photo and signature from PET-2025 display automatically and cannot be modified
• Fill “Other Details” (preferential qualification, if any) and review address details
• Accept the Declaration and click “Save and Submit”
• Pay the ₹25 fee via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan
• Download and print the final application form once payment is reconciled

Preparation Strategy for UPSSSC Veterinary Pharmacist 2026

• Prioritise Part-1 first — with 65 of 100 marks riding on subject knowledge, this should get the bulk (60-65%) of your study time. Focus especially on Pharmacology, Clinical Veterinary Medicine, and Veterinary Clinical Pharmacy, since these areas tend to carry more application-based questions
• Build strong basics in Anatomy & Physiology — these foundational topics often link directly to questions in Pathology, Parasitology and Clinical Medicine, so a solid base here pays off across multiple sub-topics
• Don’t skip Computer & IT (Part-2) — 15 easy-to-score marks are available here if you revise basic computer fundamentals, MS-Office, and current buzzwords like AI/IoT/Big Data
• UP GK (Part-3) needs daily revision — since this section draws heavily on static facts (history, geography, government schemes) and current affairs specific to Uttar Pradesh, maintain short daily notes rather than cramming close to the exam
• Practice with negative marking in mind — since 0.25 marks are deducted per wrong answer, attempt only questions you’re reasonably confident about, especially in the pharmacy/technical section where guesswork is riskier
• Use standard Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy textbooks and previous UPSSSC Pharmacist/Veterinary-related question papers to gauge the difficulty level and practice within the 2-hour time limit

Important Conditions to Note

• Candidates who are not original/permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh are not eligible for reservation and are treated as Unreserved category
• Date of birth recorded in the High School certificate alone will be accepted — no other document is considered for age proof
• The UP Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, applies to this exam — malpractice, impersonation, or concealment of facts can lead to debarment
• Passing the written exam does not itself confer a right to appointment; the Commission reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process
• Only the last finally submitted application (with fee successfully paid/reconciled) will be considered valid — no changes are possible after the 12 October 2026 correction deadline
