Educational Qualification

• A B.Tech/Engineering Degree in a notified stream from a university/institution recognized by an Act of Parliament/State Legislature, or a deemed university under the UGC Act 1956, IIT Act 1961, AICTE Act 1987, NITSER Act 2007, or IIIT Act 2024
• Final-year engineering students are also eligible, provided their result will be declared by 1 April 2027
• For final-year candidates, cumulative marks up to the 6th semester/3rd year (Engineering), 8th semester/4th year (B.Arch), or 2nd semester/1st year (M.Sc in a notified equivalent stream) must not fall below the approved cut-off percentage for their stream, at the time of the SSB
• After final results are declared, the cumulative percentage up to the final semester/year must also meet the cut-off, or the candidature will be cancelled
• Degrees from foreign universities are not accepted
• Only the notified engineering streams and their AICTE-approved equivalent stream names are accepted — any mismatch between the stream on the degree/marksheet and the online application will lead to cancellation of candidature
