Tie-Breaking Rules Applied (Para 20 of the Notice)

  • When two or more candidates secured equal aggregate marks in Paper-I and Paper-II, the tie was resolved by applying these criteria one after another, in order, until resolved:
  1. Total marks in Paper-II
  2. Marks in Part (i) of Paper-I
  3. Marks in Part (ii) of Paper-I
  4. Date of Birth — older candidates placed higher
  5. Alphabetical order of candidates’ names

Important Notes from the Official Result

  • Debarred Candidates: Candidature of 3 candidates (Roll Nos. 725140021360, 925140017624, 925140020622) has been debarred by the respective Regional Office for various reasons
  • No Reserve/Waiting List: The Commission does not prepare any Reserve List or Waiting List — vacancies arising from non-joining of allocated candidates will be carried forward to subsequent year(s) by the concerned Departments
  • Fresh Ranks Allotted: Ranks in this Final Result supersede the earlier ranks allocated in the FRTA; other FRTA details remain applicable where not contradicted by this result
  • e-Dossier Module: Dossiers of allocated candidates will be compiled electronically and made available for download by the User Department’s Nodal Officer through the e-Dossier module — dossiers received through any other mode will NOT be accepted
  • Final Answer Key & Detailed Marks: Will be uploaded on the Commission’s website in due course, for both selected and non-selected candidates

What Happens Next — Document Verification & Appointment

  • Document Verification and appointment formalities of provisionally allocated candidates will now be handled directly by the concerned User Department (BRO, CWC, CPWD, CWPRS, DGQA-Naval, Farakka Barrage Project, or Military Engineering Services), NOT by the Commission
  • If a candidate does not receive any correspondence from their User Department within 6 months of the final result declaration, they must proactively contact that Department themselves
  • The Commission will not entertain any correspondence regarding Document Verification or appointment formalities — all such queries must go directly to the respective User Department
  • Candidates should keep their original certificates, category documents, and any other supporting paperwork ready for verification, since this stage is now handled department-wise rather than centrally by SSC
