What to Do If Your Name Is Not in the Merit List

  • Check whether a separate “Reject List” has been published, along with the reason for rejection (e.g. incomplete application, non-matching eligibility, document mismatch) — RRC SCR typically publishes this alongside the merit list
  • Since the merit list is prepared purely on 10th and ITI marks, candidates with a lower average percentage than the last selected candidate in their category/trade will not appear in the initial shortlist
  • Watch for any subsequent additional/supplementary lists released to fill unfilled vacancies against particular trades or categories
  • For any grievance, candidates should use the official contact/grievance channel listed on the RRC SCR website rather than relying on unofficial sources
