HPPSC Physiotherapist Syllabus 2026 — Full Overview

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has officially released the syllabus for the objective-type Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) for recruitment to the post of Physiotherapist in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, H.P., vide Notification No. 3-68/2023-PSC(R-I) dated 21 July 2026. This follows the original recruitment notification (5 vacancies) released on 8 June 2026, for which online applications closed on 6 July 2026.

The SAT is an objective-type paper carrying 100 marks, to be completed in 2 hours, covering Physiotherapy and allied medical science subjects. The syllabus spans 15 subjects — from core sciences like Human Anatomy and Physiology to specialized clinical areas like Physiotherapy in Neurological Conditions and Physiotherapy in Orthopaedics. How to Prepare for HPPSC Physiotherapist Exam 2026

• Start with the core clinical subjects — Human Anatomy, Human Physiology and Pathology — since these form the base for most other topics in the syllabus
• Build a subject-wise timetable that gives proportionate time to Exercise Therapy, Electro Therapy and Orthopaedics, as these are core professional practice areas within Physiotherapy
